Amlodipine & PAFs

3 years ago I was prescribed Amlodipine for high blood pressure. Since then I have had 3 attacks of PAF. I have seen on some website forums that Amlodipine can cause fibrillations. Does anyone know any more about this or had any similar experiences?

I was on Amlodipine for a short while about 2 years ago. I was taken off of it because they believed it was causing my AF to happen more often. It lists fluttering and pounding heartbeats as side effects.

Many years ago (30+) I took a med named Seldane to control allergies for about 6 years. Later it was taken off the market due to causing irregular heart beats. I've always wondered if that drug caused my AF.
